Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta recently received donations from Jamesway and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) during the International Poultry Expo, part of the 2026 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), in Atlanta. The IPPE is the world’s largest annual trade show for the poultry and egg, animal food and meat industries.
Denis Kan, president of Jamesway, presented a check in the amount of $2,000 to Felicia Reynders, development officer and manager of Foundation events for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation. USPOULTRY matched Jamesway’s contribution with Gwen Venable, executive vice president of expo and communication services at USPOULTRY, presenting the check. Christian Jordan, chief commercial officer for Jamesway, joined in the presentation. Jamesway has donated to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for 16 years, and USPOULTRY has donated for 15 years.
“This year marks our 16th consecutive year of supporting this meaningful cause, and we are pleased to continue our contribution to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta,” said Kan.
“Our Association supports and appreciates Jamesway’s continued effort and leadership in contributing to Children’s. We are pleased to match this donation again,” said USPOULTRY outgoing chair, Jonathan Cade, president, Hy-Line International.
“Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta depends on the generosity of partners such as Jamesway and USPOULTRY to fulfill its mission of improving the health of children today and for years to come. Through philanthropic support, Children’s can provide essential medical care to children across Georgia,” said Reynders.
