
Nebraska Extension will be hosting two seminars for people who raise backyard poultry producers. The seminars will aim to enhance disease management and sustainability practices for producers. The seminar will also discuss common diseases, housing for the poultry, economics of egg production, and how to feed a flock.
Among the speakers at the event will be a pair of poultry specialists from Nebraska Extension, a 4-H educator, as well as a local producer from Lexington, NE. One of the sessions will be held in Kearney, NE on May 2nd, 2025 from 10 am to 3pm, and the other session will be held on May 3rd, 2025 in North Platte, NE at 10 am to 3pm.
