Country Eggs LLC has issued a recall of certain egg products after federal health officials linked them to a Salmonella outbreak. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has reported 92 related illnesses, though no fatalities have occurred.

The recall involves large brown cage-free Sunshine Yolk eggs sold under the Nagatoshi Produce, Misuho, and Nijiya Markets labels. These cartons carry sell-by dates between July 1 and September 18. In addition, eggs supplied to foodservice outlets under the name Country Eggs Large Brown Sunshine Yolks are also affected, with the same date range applying.

Distribution records show that the products were delivered to retail stores and foodservice establishments in California and Nevada between June 16 and July 9. Regulators are still working to determine whether shipments extended to other states. Production at the company’s Lucerne Valley, California facility has been halted while the investigation continues.

Consumers who purchased the recalled eggs are urged to throw them away or return them to the store where they were bought. Health officials recommend thoroughly cleaning any surfaces or containers that may have come into contact with the eggs. Anyone experiencing symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, or abdominal pain after consuming them should seek medical care.
