Hunter Thomson of Calgary, AB announced a partnership with Burnbrae Farms today that will see Thomson showcase the Burnbrae Farms logo on his right sleeve for all future competitions as he starts his professional golf journey.
Thomson, considered one of the top young professional golf prospects in the world, turned heads in his professional debut by narrowly missing the cut at the RBC Canadian Open on the PGA Tour and following it up with a playoff victory last week at the prestigious Glencoe Invitational in his hometown.
“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Burnbrae Farms and so thankful for their support as I start my career,” said Hunter Thomson, a former #1 ranked junior golfer in Canada. “Eggs are a key part of my daily nutrition and agriculture has always been such a big part of my family including my grandpa recently getting inducted into the Ontario Agriculture Hall of Fame.”
Burnbrae Farms is the largest family-owned and operated egg business in Canada, committed to providing Canadians with nutritious, great-tasting eggs and egg products. As a majority female owned business, Burnbrae Farms is proud to be certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). For generations, the Hudson family has given back to local communities, through grassroots programs, local and national charities, enhancing the lives of Canadians, one egg at a time.
“We’re incredibly proud to support such a talented and driven young athlete as he begins his professional golf journey. We can’t wait to see all that he accomplishes, and we’re thrilled to fuel Hunter’s game with the power of eggs!” said Margaret Hudson, President and CEO at Burnbrae Farms Limited.
Thomson graduated a month ago from the University of Michigan where he put the finishing touches on one of the greatest golf careers in Wolverine history. He racked up four NCCA individual wins (including a victory at the NCAA Regionals), eight runner-up finishes an incredible 25 top-10’s during his four years with the program.
Thanks to his great play Thomson finished his NCAA career in 24th spot on the PGA Tour University rankings and has earned full status on PGA Tour Americas for the rest of the 2025 season.
Thomson will begin his PGA Tour Americas season the first week of July in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
