Burnbrae Farms is set to begin construction on a state-of-the-art egg grading facility in Strathroy, Ontario’s Molnar Industrial Park. The 150,000-square-foot site will incorporate advanced automation, including systems for case packing, palletizing, depalletizing, and a fully integrated storage and retrieval setup. The design also prioritizes sustainability with features like solar power, heat recovery, and electric shore power for refrigerated trailers. The facility is expected to open in late 2026.
This project reflects Burnbrae Farms’ focus on technological innovation and environmentally responsible operations, aiming to meet growing demand for specialty eggs while strengthening its role in Canadian egg production, grading, and processing.
In addition to expanding its operations, the company announced a sponsorship agreement in July 2025 with professional golfer Hunter Thomson. The deal will see Burnbrae provide financial backing as Thomson embarks on his career on the PGA Tour Americas, with the company’s logo displayed on his right sleeve during tournaments.
