Tyson Foods Appoints Xbox President Sarah Bond to Board of Directors

Tyson Foods Inc. has appointed Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, to its board of directors as an independent member, effective immediately. Her addition brings the total number of directors to 16, including 10 independent members.

Bond leads innovation and growth across hardware, software, and services for Xbox, a key part of Microsoft’s $23 billion global gaming business. Since joining Microsoft in 2017, she has overseen strategy, product and engineering, marketing, and commercial operations. Her career also includes leadership roles at T-Mobile and McKinsey & Company.

In addition to her role at Microsoft, Bond serves on the board of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and is Vice Chair of the Entertainment Software Association. She holds an economics degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Tyson Foods stated that Bond’s expertise in technology, strategy, and business leadership is expected to support the company’s growth objectives and long-term strategic initiatives.
